1.   Childhood Obesity - for consideration on what other Authorities do to address this concern. It had been noted that Leeds had success in this area. Identifying funding streams to support work on this aspect.

 

2.   Whole population dental Health in York – Representative’s from the Local Dental Committee, NHS England, Public Health and Healthwatch York and various other professionals/organisations/service users will be invited to attend.

1.   Children and Young People’s Mental Health Scrutiny ReviewA scoping report by Children, Education & Communities Policy and Scrutiny Committee (CEC) was done last year before the pandemic and has been re-started afresh. This is a joint scrutiny with CEC, Cllrs Heaton and Vassie have joined the Task Group.

6.   Mental Health (Adults and Young People), several aspects potentially. Place based community approach update and also well-being post Covid for both. This item be put on hold until post Covid.

7.    ‘Dying Well’ – Under this broad heading would include consideration of hospices. They are only partly supported financially by the Health Service and raise most of their own funding. This item be put on hold until post Covid.
